Pre-Seasoned Cast Iron
The Klee Cast Iron Wok is pre-seasoned and ready to use! Simply rinse with warm water and pat dry with a paper towel or lint-free cloth before first use. Every time you use your cast iron pot, you improve the seasoning!
Seasoned cast iron is perfect for stir-frying and sautéing. Using a lower heat setting will also prevent food from sticking. All utensils are safe to use with cast iron; even metal utensils won’t damage the surface!
Large handles make it easy to move and lift your pan. The handles curve upward rather than extending out horizontally so they take up less room on your stovetop. Always use a handle grip or mitt when touching the handles!
Our wok includes a wooden cover to prevent spatter while cooking and maintain an even temperature! You can also use the cover to keep food warm until it’s ready to be served.
Cast iron can be used on all cooking surfaces, including induction stoves, electric stoves, gas stoves and glasstop stoves. It can even be used in the oven or on the grill! Cast iron should be heated and cooled gradually, so allow your wok to pre-heat for a few minutes before adding your food. Cast iron is excellent at retaining heat evenly, so you can use a lower heat setting with the same results!
Easy Use & Care
Cast iron is not dishwasher safe! Avoid placing hot cast iron into cold water.
Wash cast iron by hand with warm water, using a nylon bristle brush and mild detergent to scrub the surface. Use a pan scraper for stubborn food scraps, or simmer water for a few minutes to loosen hardened food. Dry thoroughly with a lint-free cloth or paper towel. Spray or rub a light layer of vegetable oil on the surface while the pot is still warm to maintain the seasoned surface.
